Understanding User Roles in Your System

In our system, we distinguish between two primary user roles: Account User and Cardholder User. Each role serves distinct purposes and holds specific responsibilities within the system. Understanding the differences between these roles is essential for efficient and secure management of accounts and cards.


Admin

The Admin User is the highest level of access within the system. Admin Users have full control over system settings, user management, and data.

Permissions:

  • Pricing plan select

  • Company limits adjustment

  • Payment accounts management

  • Expense and Payroll card management

  • Internal payments between accounts and products

  • Money Top-Up

  • Statement generation

  • Access to the API

  • Company and Profile Settings


Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Chief Financial Officer has comprehensive user permission access, allowing them to oversee and manage critical financial aspects of the company.

Permissions:

  • Pricing plan select

  • Company limits adjustment

  • Payment accounts management

  • Expense and Payroll card management

  • Internal payments between accounts and products

  • Money Top-Up

  • Statement generation


Accountant

Accountant The Accountant holds pivotal user permissions that enable them to efficiently manage the financial aspects of the company.
Permissions:

  • Payment accounts management

  • Expense card management (view only)

  • Internal payments between accounts and products

  • Money Top-Up

  • Statement generation

Developer

Developers have exclusive access to our unique REST API, allowing them to interact with and manipulate data programmatically. Enables them to create, modify, and optimize applications, services, or integrations that rely on this API to enhance the functionality and connectivity of our company's systems and services.

Permissions:

  • Access to the API


Cardholder User

The Cardholder user can utilize the Wallester mobile app to access the expense or payroll card. The card offers a range of features and benefits, such as expense tracking, budget limits, and real-time transaction notifications. Furthermore, users have the option to select the “Payroll Card” to receive their salary or bonuses for personal expenses.

Permissions:

  • Access Expense or Payroll cards, both virtual and physical, through the Wallester mobile application.
