What is Currency Exchange?

Currency Exchange allows you to transfer funds between your Wallester Business accounts in different currencies. Instead of using external bank transfers, you can exchange currencies directly within the Client Portal or Mobile App, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.

How to Use Currency Exchange?

1. Access the Currency Exchange Feature

  • Log in to your Client Portal or open the Wallester Mobile App.

  • Navigate to the Currency Exchange section from the main menu.

2. Select Accounts and Currencies

  • Choose the account you want to send funds from.

  • Select the currency you wish to exchange into.

  • Or, select another one from the list and proceed with.

  • The system will automatically display the available balance for exchange.

3. Enter the Amount

  • You can specify either:

    • The amount you wish to send, or

    • The amount you want to receive after conversion.

  • The applicable exchange rate and any relevant fees (if applicable) will be shown before confirming the transaction.

4. Confirm the Exchange

  • Review the details of your transaction.

  • If everything is correct, confirm the exchange.

  • Once confirmed, the funds will be exchanged and reflected in your account instantly.

Transaction History & Reports

  • All completed currency exchanges are recorded in your Statements Page.

  • You can track details such as the exchanged amount, final received amount, and timestamps for each transaction.

Important Notes

  • Currency Exchange is available 24 hours a day, 5 days a week, via the Client Portal and Mobile App, from Monday until Friday (GMT+3). Please note, the times will adjust during daylight saving in the time zones, but you will still have 24/5 coverage.

  • Currency Exchange is only available between your own Wallester Business accounts.

  • If you do not have an account in the required currency, you will need to create one before proceeding with the exchange.

  • Exchange rates update in real time, and rates may change if the transaction is not confirmed within a certain time frame.
